I'm a tiny bit concerned.....

....that this baby currently residing in my uterus (with something wedged rather inhospitably under my ribs) is gonna be born with the uncanny ability to count from 1 to 3.

She will probably think too that my normal tone of voice is that of a shrieking beast.

For such is the frequency these days that I appear to be giving out warnings and counting sternly to three before one of my delightful monsters requires a visit (or 8) to the naughty spot.

I just can't work out if my unborn child's numerical brilliance will be the result of my good parenting or bad.

Ah well brilliance is brilliance.

Who cares how we get there.

She will totally know how to count 1 to 3!

And, will still likely spend time in the naughty spot!

Counting from 1-3 is a good thing--she is the third afterall ;)

That is funny! I am a "counting to three monster" myself these days!

My aunt ( who is only 2 years older than I am-so she's really more a sister than an aunt..but that's all just really useless information....) once said that when she's old and senile and laying on her death bed, the only thing she'll remember how to do is to count to three.

I totally agree with you. And I hope your little darling does come out counting. That was one of the first things Presley ever did...it will make me feel better.

She will be brilliant!

Counting to 3 totally worked for Connor (and still does), but does not phase Addisyn at all.

my kids are now too old for a naughty spot... and i still count - even for the 15 year old. i don't think he has realized that he could probably out run me yet... i say brilliance begats brilliance. and you're right...it mattereth not upon how you get there! :)

I think she'll be working out ways to avoid hearing you count to 3 ;-)

She is probably getting all kinds of tips from Mom on how to handle her brothers.

I am so there with you! Why is it that in the last month of pregnancy our older kids decide to be absolute hellions?? I'm ready for my days of peace and quiet in hospital, even if it is a c-section! Dealing with a newborn will be a cakewalk after these two monsters!! I hope for both our sakes that our kids settle down after babies arrive!
