Budding Picasso

Yep it's true our Eli is very artistic.

Earlier I was snuggling on the sofa with Thomas and Eli took off to the bedroom. He often does this and when I go check on him he'll be sitting with a stack of books reading Dr. Seuss or something, it is just heart melting. But today he wasn't in a reading mood, he was in a creative mood of sorts.

His canvas of choice? The wall
The bookcase
The radiator

His pen of choice?

100% Pure Poo!

Not so heart melting.

Again I thank the creator of baby wipes (whoever you are I adore you!).

If anyone has space for a two year old I do currently have one available!

Ack! As soon as I saw the first pic I knew what he had done, but I kept hoping that I was wrong.
Poor Carol! Big hugs for you today!!! What did you say to the little devil upon discovering his "art"? I'm not sure what I would do in that situation. I think I'd have to walk away for a second before I'd even be able to speak for fear of what might come out of my mouth.

Oh, Carol, I am so sorry! I don't know what I would do. Good Luck to you!!

I am so sorry - but if it helps it does make me feel better about my little monkey going poo in the pool last week. Thank you for sharing!

I saw the first pic and thought please please please don't be and then as I scrolled down, please NO.
Would you like my kids to come paint your walls?!

Ah--just noticed the poo is on a Lightning McQueen thing--I will keep this away from my son or he'll cry (he's my Cars lovin' neat freak)

EWWWWWWW! I knew the minute I saw the picture what it was. Do I dare ask was it all over him as well? You poor thing! I hope he got a good time out for that!

Yucky, for sure. But as yucky as it seems to us, just imagine what a non-mom would think of this post.

Ew. I think I just threw up a little in my mouth.

No, definitely, I did.

My first thought:
Yuck! Gross! Gag!

My second thought:
Whose poo was it?

My third thought:
WHY?

Oh No! That's awful. I'm so sorry.
Those two year olds are something else.
I'm with Wendi in wondering.....
Whose poo was that?

Hope today is better.

Been there done that...my son was a great artist just as yours is. I am so sorry for you not that cleaning is ever fun but that is REALLY not fun.

Your husband must love you posting this stuff on the internet. I'd be mortified if my kids did that.

As much as I detest poo, I would be thankful to be able to clean up my son's latest mess with some wet wipes. It doesn't quite take "Bid on it Berry" nail polish out of our BRAND NEW CARPET. So sorry about the art, however. I was with the majority hoping it wasn't what it appeared to be!! I myself had a scare just yesterday morning that turned out to be chocolate chips! I'd take that over the poo surprise anyday! :)

Oh no! I'd be whipping out the bleach for that mess. So sorry!

Also, cracking up at your twins post below - I used to get that ALL THE TIME when my boys were little (they are 18 mos apart). All I can say is that it does get better when they are older - they are 9 & 11 now and nobody thinks that they're twins anymore! Good luck!

OH. MY. GOSH. I have never had this happen to me, I'm so sorry. But it is hillarious!

Thanks for sharing and for being brave~

I was just hoping, really hoping against hope that your little tyke has gotten into some chocolate pudding, or cake mix or something. But then I knew, as I scrolled that it wasn't quite so benign. Oh. My. Gosh.

It gave me horrid flashbacks to when my twins were two (sixteen years ago) and the smell actually hit me before I even entered their bedroom one morning. One in one crib, the other in another one, painting all over the walls with Poo paint.

Uhg, I just gagged.

Am really enjoying your blog. Thanks for stopping by my site. My husband is even enjoying reading your bits from across the pond, as that's where he hails from, Portsmouth to be exact.

Looking forward to visiting again soon.
